Venue

The congress will be held in the buildings of the Faculté des Lettres et Sciences Humaines (espace Tilo-Frey 1), ideally located next to Lake Neuchâtel.

The train station and the city center are easily accessible on foot or by public transport from the conference site.

The surrounding area is very well served by public transportation (schedule, tickets and special offers on sbb.ch and transn.ch). Bicycles can be rented online at dozens of stations along the lake.

Most hotels in the region offer the Neuchâtel Tourist Card which allows free use of public transport.

Equipment

The rooms are equipped with a projector and a computer running Windows 10. It is also possible to connect your own computer (video connection via HDMI, some HDMI to USB-C adapters will be available).

Internet

The University of Neuchâtel offers free access to the Internet via the public wifi network "public-unine" (a valid mobile phone number is required). The University is also part of the eduroam network.

For more information on these connection methods, see here.

Meals

Each day, a simple lunch is served directly at the conference site (outside or inside, depending on the weather).

The conference dinner will be held at the Hotel DuPeyrou and will take the form of a cocktail reception ("apéritif dinatoire").

Vegetarian and vegan options are available in both cases.

Beach

The Faculté des Lettres et Sciences Humaines where the congress is held is located a few meters from the public beach of les Jeunes-Rives. Don't hesitate to take your bathing gear and enjoy the lake to cool down during the summer heat.
